TAWANG BY BIKE:(8NIGHTS/9DAYS)
Day-00:- Assemble at guwahati.
Day-01: - GUWAHATI-BHALUKPONG(250km) Early morning drive to Bhalukpong,overnight Bhalukpong.
Day 02:- BHALUKPONG-BOMDILA(95km):(OFFICIAL BEGINNING OF THE EXPIDITION)
Morning, after FLAG-OFF by the chief guest,drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium and sessa Orchidarium which is also the Botanical Paradise of Sate of Arunchal Pradesh and Orchid Sanctuary at Sessa has more than 2600 Orchids representing over 80 species have been cultivated in natural surroundings. There is also a floral glass house at Tipi.
Enroute view and enjoy the scenic beauty. Kameng gorgeous River and its river bank ideal for anglina, High waterfalls, thick rain / alpine forests, spectacular and picturesque high mountains, feel the chilled air and breezes, enjoy the sharp turning and high mountain motor drive.
Day- 03-BOMDILA-TAWANG(195km): Morning drive to Tawang,enroute vist local village at Dirang and Dirang Zong, Sela pass and Sela Lake. The sela pass is one of the highest pass in the world situated at the top of 14,000ft.above the sea level and the sela lake is one of the highest lake in the world. On the way to sela pass checked the nerves in the curves, as the vehicle will climb the high Rocky Mountains with hairpin bend drive. Arrival at Tawang and night hold. In hotel Tawang inn.
Day –04- TAWANG: Full day explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Later trek to gyangong Ani Gomap, which are the adobe of nuns. gyangong ani gompa is the oldest Ani Gompa in the Tawang District. It is situated in the lap of a far off mountain laced with natural scenery. This Ani Gompa is under the administration of Tawang Monastery. And on way back to town vist bramdung chung anni gonpa.
Evening visit Urgelling Monastery, situated 5km to the south of Tawang Township. It was here in 1683 Tsangyang Gyatso, the sixth Dalai Lama was born later procced to Monpa village. Overnight at Tawang.hotel tawang inn.
Day- 05-TAWANG –ZEMITHANG(88km): Early morning drive to Zemithang(88km). See the largest and the oldest stuppa of the region and visit Pangchenpa tribe,over night at Zemithang.
Day –06-ZEMITHANG-TAWANG.: Morning drive to Tawang, rest of the day at leasure.
Day-07-TAWANG-BOMDILA: Early morning drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of the waterfalls, Enroute visit the Jaswant Ghar, a site of 1962 Sino-indo war memorial raised to pay homage to national war hero Veer Jaswant Singh, Mahavir Charka Awardees (posthumous) of 4 Battalion Garhwal rifles. This is a place where every Indians feels the solidarity and express the patriotic emotions. latter drive to Bomdila.
Day-08-BOMDILA-BHALUKPONG: Morning drive to Bhalukpong, evening-camp fire and farewell party to all the participants.
Day-09-BHALUKPONG-GUWAHATI.: Morning drive to Guwahati. Our Expidition ends.
